Sweet Abyss is back for a freaky February bonanza, featuring the debut live performance of Sug and the Slug Beat band here in Pittsburgh!! Comprised of dexterous players Johnny Zoloft @johnnyzoloft and Sweet Abyss resident mixtress KL @kiernanlaveaux in addition to band leader Sug @slug_zone they will be playing maladapted live electronic jazz progressive versions of music from Sug’s “Slug Beat” album, released via our friends @lizard_label - This will also kickstart their next tour from Pittsburgh to Providence and beyond, after their first run a couple months back across the midatlantic!
the evening will also feature Pittsburgh’s favorite disc jockey of italo, synthpop + beyond, FORMOSA! Sure to get your dancing, shaking, crying, laying down, and feeling how you feel! A special set of music they love across the mental danceable spectrum @formosa.exe
opening up the Sweet Abyss portale is resident Carrie Sours, known for her wide tastes and selections, jovial quips, stylish pattern layering, & fog machine
