The Pittsburgh stop of experimental improv duo Premoticon, plus eCosystem, an algorithmic, multimedia work by Danielle Rager and Char Stiles.
Promoticon is comprised of Pittsburgh's recent transplant Patrick J Breiner on tenor sax and Evan McEvoy (Ann Arbor, MI) on double-bass.
eCosystem is a creation of violinist and producer {arsonist} (Danielle Rager, https://thesetofarsonist.bandcamp.com/) and computational artist Char Stiles (http://charstiles.com/). Live coded audio and visuals create simulated ecologies, where synthesized life forms are generated and destroyed according to rules constrained by the musical phrases.
