For the second edition of Plot Twist, the party series welcomes three champions of contemporary bass music for a night of deep low-end at Hot Mass. Making their Pittsburgh debuts are Toulouse-based producer and DJ Jan Loup and Baltimore’s Babypufff, joined by returning favorite DJ Voices.
Jan Loup is a producer, DJ, and sound technician active since 2018. Based in Toulouse, she crafts immersive sets blending modern dubstep, deep drum & bass, percussive halftime, and tribal-inflected rhythms. She co-runs Le Comité Des Fêtes and is part of the Aïra collective, and has released on NAFF, Nerve Collect, Jupiter4, and Tempa.
Babypufff is a key figure in the DMV DIY bass scene, known for melodic, playful, and experimental sets that move between UKG, house, leftfield bass, and electronica. She runs the Beatitude label and party series.
DJ Voices returns to Hot Mass, opening the floor with her signature beat science and adventurous selections.
