Drum and Bass returns to Butler Street at one of Lawrenceville's most beloved permanent fixtures, New Amsterdam! Every first Wednesday of the month, join DJ Ninja Papes and his featured guests in an exploration of soulful, intelligent DnB grooves. There is no cover, so visit for just a minute or spend the entire night with us in the mix.
This month, we welcome Pittsburgh DnB aristocracy, Jake the Snake aka JTS. This act has been an inspiration for myself and many aspiring young DnB DJs here in pittsburgh since the late 90s.
We also welcome back Native Impulse, AND there will almost certainly be a few surprise guests paying us a visit, so come for a delicious dinner and stay for the feast of the ears!
Finally at 1 AM we have a special guest from St. Petersburg Florida, Decibal Nation, representing the labels Aftermath//Abducted Records//Dangerous New Records UK. Stick around for a set from a professional.
