  shift in a genre that has long been heavily male-dominated\, opening up a
  more inclusive space while also pushing a sound whose deep and meditative
  qualities speak to the dub part of dubstep.\n\nUK dubstep’s lineage is 
 the backbone of Carré’s sound where she balances a fine mix of sensual 
 low-end rollers\, percussive left-field techno\, chrome-plated dubstep\, a
 nd wonky drum workouts.\n\nShe has graced imprints like SPE:C\, Bait\, Woo
 zy\, and the formative dubstep imprint\, Tempa ( @tempa.ltd ). Her latest
