DETOUR is excited to kick off their 2023 residency at Hot Mass with an evening of sounds that highlight the raw side of Techno, Acid, Electro, Miami Bass, EBM, and more.
Opening the night will be the Detroit-based, Fabiola, who will be treating us to the best of Detroit Techno, Miami Bass, Freestyle, and Spanish Flamenco to get us grooving, bumping, and slithering on the dance floor.
Longtime DETOUR collaborator, the Philly-based M Parent, will then take over party-rocking duties to present a live modular set of dirty acid riffs, electro synth stabs, and funky beats. Hot off the heels of releasing his 3rd LP, Who is Your God?, on Sons of Traders, we cannot wait to hear what our number one reptilian friend has in store for us.
As if this wasn’t already enough, Bari born, Berlin-based, selector of no compromise, Mike Tansella Jr., will be closing out the evening with his unquestionable appreciation for the true sound of Chicago Jack and Detroit Techno. His regular sets for Mutant Radio Tbilisi and his label, Sons of Traders, feature an emphasis on gnarly grooves and thunderous bass and we cannot wait to hear what he has in store for this evening.
Please note, we will not be doing pre-sales for the month of January as we transition ticketing systems. This means we will only be taking cash for entry. Please plan accordingly and we hope to see you on the dance floor soon.
