As one third of the team behind the Hessle Audio label along with Ben UFO and Pangea, David Kennedy a.k.a. Pearson Sound, has become more than synonymous with the cutting edge of UK dancefloor music. Since 2009 he's had a solid run of single and EP releases which have become a staple for house and techno DJs around the world. Never afraid to experiment, his hypnotic sounds take in everything from minimal and electro to bass and acid. His latest EP, Robin Chasing Butterflies (released in May on his own self-titled label) continues in this vein, trading audacious dance floor moments for sensitive melancholy and bittersweet resignation.
