Come Holy Spirit // Gnarrenschiff Record Release
doom folk and split vinyl record release party
Join Come Holy Spirit and instrumental doom/folk gods Gnarrenschiff (MKE) for the celebration of their vinyl rsplit elease //
Gnarrenschiff has spent the last decade creating otherworldly music from the underworld of Milwaukee. With two electric saz’s (a stringed instrument from Turkey) played by Gabe Jankowski and Didier Leplae, bass played by Pete Railand and bodhran played by Bob Ellquist, Gnarrenschiff entrances listeners with their hypnotic compositions. Born in a kitchen during the darkest days of winter.
Also featuring the great violin shredder Joey Molinaro. Acoustic experimental black metal/ solo grind violinist Joey Molinaro’s “stomping and ferocious playing is inescapable,” (Foxy Digitalis).
Molinaro “executes the spirit and function of hardcore punk and Appalachian folk” (Foxy Digitalis) with “vocals [that] haunt, like a preternatural voice from beyond the pale” (Razorcake) and torrential boot-stomping.
