As Bardo:Basho, Philadelphia-based electronic musician Kirsten Thom composes primarily loop-based music designed to create a sense of stasis and a state of hypnosis in the listener. She combines field recordings and disorienting sound design with ethereal melodies and harmonies using software synths and her own voice. Thom's music has been showcased alongside Holly Herndon, Laurel Halo, and Actress.

Philadelphia-based, Iranian composer Cameron Shafii practices electronic and electroacoustic music. His compositions are inflected with a host of digital synthesis processes and are informed by aspects of acousmatic theory, particularly spectromorphology. He runs the Ge-stell label and has performed alongside Kevin Drumm, Demdike Stare, and Seth Graham.
