Your friendly Pittsburgh neighborhood band Almost Exactly Like Julia blends indie rock with warm vocals and a sprinkle of jazz. The band’s got Kyle, a grooving drummer, Roger, a sensitive shredder on bass, Big Ruth, a lovely-expressive keys player, and Julia on vocals and guitar, with just the right amount of pedals at her feet.
Led by singer-songwriter Julia Mahncke, the band is releasing their debut EP in June 2026. Julia also performs solo in smaller venues like cafés, patios, bars, living rooms and such.
